Master’s degree “Sustainable Regional Development: Education – Management – Nature Conservation” (NaRegio – M. Sc.)

Warm welcome!

The NaRegio master’s program deals with the “big” sustainability challenges, such as demographic change, the energy, nutrition and mobility transition, climate change and the balance between town and country. The students deal with how they can design such processes on a regional level.

NaRegio continues the aspects of the previous master’s program “Regional Development and Nature Conservation” (RuN) under a new name with updated content. The course is still one of the few that focuses on the sustainable development of rural regions. Students come to study in Eberswalde from all over the German-speaking area.

Good reasons to study NaRegio:

  • You work application-oriented in the year group. You bring together your knowledge from various disciplines such as landscape ecology, forestry and agricultural sciences, geography, landscape architecture, etc. and complement each other.
  • The NaRegio course builds on 15 years of teaching experience, it is continuously developed and updated in terms of content and subject matter.
  • We offer space for your own profile. You can choose between three fields of study:
    a) Specialization “Environmental Education / Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)” b) Specialization “Biodiversity Management in the Cultural Landscape” or c) “Individual Profiling”

Here is the welcome letter for everyone who will be studying with us from September 26th.
