Massive swarms of locusts cover the skies over Argentina

Argentina was invaded by locust swarms that covered the country’s sky and destroyed thousands of hectares of farmland.

The huge locust swarms swooped on farms in the town of Lanterne, in the northern province of Santa Ana, after crossing from neighboring Paraguay.

Videos captured by locals show the terrifying scene, where locust swarms block the drivers’ view entirely, on the road.
