“Mass Effect Legendary Edition Receives Extensive Community Patch Update for First Game”

©

The Mass Effect community patch team has released a new update for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This patch is only for the first ME LE game, but is quite extensive. Here is his main changelog:

  • Added a mod settings menu accessible from the pause screen, similar to what was included in the LE3 Community Patch. Mods can extend it and add their own submenus in a similar way. Several fixes in this mod have been made optional and can be configured via the menu. Huge thanks to DropTheSquid for spearheading this project.
  • Integrated Persistent Options mod for LE1. This will add the FOV option to the game settings menu.
  • Powers will now fill all available slots in the action bar, which fixed an issue where Liara could not use overload and Sentinel, Engineer, or Adept players were sometimes unable to use their bonus power. Shepard’s tenth slot is still unused. This will change the location of abilities on the action bar.
  • Fixed many grammatical, spelling and formatting errors in planet descriptions and diary entries.
  • The UI buttons in Quasar, the Terum laser mini-game, and the Noveria toxin blending mini-game now play the appropriate UI sounds.
