At the moment things are going well with Mila’s arm, Mascha writes with a photo of her daughter on Instagram. In that photo, the left sleeve of Mila’s arm is pinned to her dress with a safety pin. “Dressing is really hell, because you can’t move that arm without it hurting,” says Mascha.
Many of Mascha’s followers ask if Mila has a nerve damage, so that she could partly no longer use her arm. “That is still unclear,” writes Mascha. “They did some tests at birth and the conclusion is that it is not yet certain.”

In three weeks Mascha will have an appointment in the hospital again. Then everything will be checked. “We are hopeful, because she does squeeze her hand and we always try to stimulate him.” And despite the difficult start, Mascha really enjoys little Mila. “She is a wonderfully calm girl with a very funny character, so despite the arm she comes across as happy.”
