MASAMBA, KOMPAS.TV – Flood a crashing bandang Luwu Utara, apparently not only happens in the City Masamba. But it also hit five other cities, namely Sabbang, Baebunta, South Baebunta, Malangke and West Malangke.
At least thousands of houses were submerged, and 4,000 families were affected. Flood also making mud material piled up on the city.
Temporary data from the combined SAR Team under the control of Basarnas this afternoon recorded 10 deaths, 10 residents were rescued and 46 others were still in search.
“As many of the injured were referred to the RSUD Masamba, “said Raditya Jati, Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, in a written statement, Tuesday (07/14/2020).

Information received by the public last night, flash floods have hit the City of Masamba. It is known that one person on behalf of Akram died in the floods.
Akram is a resident of Bone Tua Village, Subdistrict, Masamba. “He was dragged to around the village of Laba. The victim was found by residents and then evacuated,” said Sub-District Chief Masamba Ajie Saputra, as quoted by Kompas.com, Tuesday (07/14/2020).
