Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Morbius DLC Now Accessible

GwiGwi.com – 2K and Marvel Entertainment announced that The Hunger, the post-launch Midnight Suns DLC from Marvel Midnight Suns featuring Morbius, is now available worldwide on Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.

In The Hunger, Morbius, who accidentally transformed himself into a bat-like form in an attempt to cure a rare disease, must join forces with the Midnight Suns to combat the Vampyre menace that is criss-crossing New York City. As if the vampyre plague wasn’t enough, Hydra has begun infusing undead DNA into its toughest troops to create squadrons of transformed supersoldiers. Morbius hopes to reverse-engineer their properties to create a serum that will let them block sunlight-but in the wrong hands, his research could make all vampyre tropes unstoppable. Included in The Hunger:

  • New recruitable hero: Morbius, a living vampire who wields 11 unique hero abilities
  • New story mission: Fight a number of fresh enemy types across challenging new encounters
  • New Monastery Upgrade: Laboratory
  • 3 additional hero skins, 7 Abbey outfits and 2 swimsuits for Morbius

Morbius is recruited by completing his first story mission “Weird Science,” which becomes playable after completing the “Spidermaaaans” mission and Spider-Man unmasking in the Abbey during Act One.

In battle, Morbius is all about applying bleed to enemies, and then leveraging that effect to increase damage. Similar to Captain Marvel, he can enter a “Bloodlust” state after using some of his abilities, giving him a block and causing all of his destructive abilities to apply Bleed. While Blade is a master at distributing bleeding via chain abilities, Morbius is more focused on increasing single target damage – try pairing the two and see how they really feed off of each other! His passive “The Greater Hunger” from building friendship lowers the number of cards needed to activate bloodlust.

Morbius’ Unique Monastery Research Project Lab allows the purchase of permanent modifications to a hero’s secondary stats, although this will always have trade-offs. Upgrading the laboratory increases the number of stat options and their rarity.

The Hunger is available today for Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is graded “T” for teenagers.
