Just over a month after reappearing at the Summer Games Fest opening ceremony, Marvel’s Midnight Sunsthe T-RPG developed by Firaxis Games (XCOM, Civilization), shared a gameplay video this weekend giving us the opportunity discover Captain America’s abilities in combat.
An ever-present card system
Taunting enemy units, absorbing or reducing damage, devastating shield attacks… for no less than four minutes, the video shows us in some depth what this version of the famous Steve Rogers is capable of.
Another important information to note, despite the rumors of an overhaul that have been circulating since last May, it seems that the card system always be an indispensable part of the gameplay. This may not please those who believe that the presence of this mechanism will introduce too much chance into the clashes.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be released on October 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
