Marvel’s Avengers: Spider-Man will be well playable, but exclusively on PlayStation – News

Expected for September 4, Marvel’s Avengers will bring together several heroes from the Marvel universe, namely Miss Marvel, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor or Hawkeye.

However, players who will have Marvel’s Avengers on PS4 and later on PS5 will be entitled to a size bonus at the beginning of the year 2021. Indeed, Jeff Adams, Associate Artistic Director at Crytal Dynamics just announced that Spider-Man will be part of the team, exclusively on Sony platforms. The character, rather used to defending New York, has however several times been brought to participate in larger-scale struggles, and that’s what the studio will exploit. The effort to design a fun-to-play Spider-Man was entrusted to Vince Napoli, Lead Combat Designer, which also has the mission of maintaining the fluidity of movements and blows carried by Peter Parker, while integrating it into the game’s progression system.

Despite all of Spider-Man’s great solo adventures, having him alongside Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Miss Marvel is going to bring a whole new dimension. Players will face the world’s most dangerous threats together, using Spider-Man’s innate powers … enhanced by the help of his comrades. Partnering with the Avengers gives Spider-Man full access to the awesome tech available to the team, such as Hank Pym’s custom web throw tech, SHIELD, Stark Industries, and more.

Spider-Man will arrive in-game for a special event, which will include a series of challenges to accomplish. This event will allow players to test different skills and multiple gadgets of the spider-man. Finally, like the other characters, Spider-Man will have multiple outfits, in order to personalize the nice little spider in the neighborhood. The beta on PS4 will start on August 7th while Xbox One and PC players will wait until the 14th. Also note that an open beta will start on August 21st.
