Marvel series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier postponed due to corona | NOW

The release date of the new Marvel series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier has been postponed indefinitely due to the corona pandemic. Initially, the series would air on Disney + in August, but production of the series had to be halted, reports The Verge. Disney hopes to announce a new premiere date soon.

The cast and crew of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was in Prague in March to film there for the series. However, due to the corona outbreak, that had to be stopped. Actor Sebastian Stan wrote about this Instagram“We’re being sent home. Too soon. Prague, you’ll be on my mind for a long time.”

The Marvel series continues where the movie Avengers: Endgame ended up. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revolves around characters Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp) will also return. Little is known about the storyline. No official trailer has been released yet.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier isn’t the only Disney + series to be delayed. Also WandaVision, Loki in Hawkeye will appear on the streaming service later than planned.
