Martinique’s Yvan Verin won the trophy for the best youngster in the Starligue, during the Handnews awards (May 15). He won with 37% of the vote, six months after the signing of his first professional contract with C’Chartres MHB.
It was the youth trophy that garnered the most votes (almost 8,000). The fight was tough and ultimately Yvan Verin won with 37% of the vote, ahead of Gabin Martinez (32%) and Aymeric Anzuini (31%). He hangs the trophy for the best young starligue during the awards for writing Handnews.

Considered one of the biggest French potentials of the 2000 generation, the resident of the French team under the age of 21 has accumulated experience since his tenure in the team to replace his injured teammate Racotéa.
The 19-year-old versatile left back, international U21, started at USC Citron, then went through the hope pole of Martinique. After the Chartres training center, he signed his first professional contract in December 2019.
