martin Kiely, of Kanturk, Co Cork, Passes Away peacefully at Home

Kanturk, Co Cork – Martin Kiely, formerly of Strand Street, passed away peacefully at his home on June 14th, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was the son of the late Timothy and Kathleen (Kit) Kiely and brother of the late Pat.

Remembering Martin Kiely

Martin was known as a devoted husband to Noreen (Lucey) and a cherished father to Catherine (Daly) and Martin Patrick. He will be fondly remembered by his family, including his brothers and sisters: Joe, jeremiah, Mary (Corkery), Gerard, Renie (Harding), and Oliver, as well as his grandchildren: Jonathan, Katlyn, Eoin, Caoimhe, and Seán. He is also survived by his son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Linda, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at Hannon’s Funeral Home Doneraile, Eircode P51HN30, on Sunday evening, June 15th, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, followed by prayers.The Requiem mass will be held at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed virgin Mary Doneraile, Eircode P51W2XF, at 2:30 pm on monday, June 16th, 2025, followed by burial in Oldcourt Cemetery Doneraile. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed at www.doneraileparish.ie.
