The music festival is the perfect opportunity, each year, for fans to sing along for an evening.
For this special 2021 pandemic edition, the Government has given instructions for the organization. Each city went there with its own organization. No groups in the streets, reduced standards in bars and restaurants where artists perform. It’s hard to fully enjoy the longest evening of the year.
For its part, Martigues has decided to set up three outdoor stages, with three very distinct musical themes, the opportunity to satisfy everyone’s desires.
Three scenes for three atmospheres. On the Pablo Picasso site, from 8 p.m., piano lovers were able to enjoy the performance of Hélène Pereira. On the side of the chapel of the annociade, the Argentine tango was in the spotlight with the performance of Victor Hugo Villena, from 8:30 pm. The third part of this evening was on a totally different theme: rap and hip-hop, in the courtyard of the island.
The scene dedicated to rap has delighted young and old. And three groups of young martégaux were able to perform. With MGMR at 8:30 p.m., YNS at 9:10 p.m. and Oh Musique which close at 9:50 p.m. A golden opportunity to show a new image of rap straight from Martigues (video).
An evening which, in spite of the restrictions, knew how to satisfy the musical desires of each one, while leaving the opportunity to the amateurs to perform in front of an audience.
