A man named Zhang managed to deceive his three wives for a long time. He secretly married and gave his three wives a place to live in the same neighborhood.
Zhang married three times in a three year period, from 2015 to 2017. He married three women from different provinces.
From each wife, he was blessed with a child. This man from China is quite well established, having a real estate company in the city of Kunshan, Jiangsu. From this business, Zhang managed to support his three wives and children.
Zhang decided to give each wife an apartment in the same neighborhood. Each apartment is only 1 kilometer away, Bunda.
This 36-year-old man is quite good at tricking his wives. When he could not return home, he would reason that he was on a business trip. Within a week, Zhang went back and forth to each of his three wives’ homes.
Mr. Zhang’s behavior was finally exposed by his wives. He was reported to the police and charged with polygamy.
If found guilty, Mr. Zhang will be sentenced to two years in prison. In a statement, he admitted that he did not know about the law of marriage when he was married three wives.
Mr. Zhang’s first wife is reported to have divorced him. While Mr. Zhang’s second and third wives still survived.
Both of Mr. Zhang’s wives admitted that their husbands are actually good husbands. His second wife even judged that her husband was very attentive and always washed the dishes after eating.
Zhang’s fate is still unclear after being released from prison. He only hopes that one of his wives can receive him back, Bunda.
“After I leave, I will see who can forgive and I will be with him,” said Zhang, quoted by the website Shanghailist.
