“In this way we see more glamor and glitter on the grid again”, he starts his story referring to the fact that AlphaTauri is also the Red Bull clothing brand at the same time. That was also noticeable during the presentation, as a fashion show of half an hour preceded the unveiling of the car.
“We are very proud of this name change and the upgrade that the team has received,” the Austrian continues in conversation with Motorsport Magazine. According to Marko, that upgrade also means that AlphaTauri can no longer call itself a Red Bull Junior team.
“A transformation has taken place and AlphaTauri has been upgraded from a junior team to a full-fledged Red Bull sister team,” said the Red Bull advisor, who finally admitted that there were many influences of the RB15 on the first AlphaTauri car.
