The actress Markie Post has passed away this Saturday, August 7 at age 70, after dealing with cancer for almost four years, as his manager Ellen L. Sanitsky has confirmed to Deadline.

The one in charge of announcing the news was the artist’s own family through a statement, in which they paid tribute to her great personality both on and off the set: “Our pride is in who she was in addition to being a great actress; a person who made elaborate cakes for friends, sewed curtains for the first apartments, and showed us how to be kind, loving, and godly in an often harsh world. ”
There are many colleagues who have said goodbye to the actress from Night Court, among which stand out Melissa Joan Hart and Sophia Bush, known for Sabrina and for co-starring with the actress in other productions. Both have expressed their condolences through social networks.

Born on November 4, 1950 in California, Markie Post spent four decades in the television industry. He worked, in addition to series, in various entertainment shows, as in play spaces, as he did in 2000 over five episodes in Hollywood Squares, of CBS.
