There is so much 36-year-old Mark Zuckerberg has in fortune now, reports among other things CNN and BBC.
Only two people have cleared the $ 100 billion limit before him; Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Zuckerberg’s fortune comes after his company Facebook launched the new video clip service Instagram Reels – a service that goes straight to the throat of rival TikTok. Facebook rose more than 6 percent on the stock exchange on Thursday – the day after the service was launched. Zuckerberg owns 13 percent of the shares in the company, writes BBC.
The launch of the video service could not have come at a better time. It came at the same time as the President of the United States Donald Trump threatened to ban the increasingly popular – Chinese-owned – app TikTok.

According to Bloomberg, Zuckerberg’s fortune has risen by around 22 billion dollars so far in 2020. It is still far behind the growth the world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos, is experiencing. His values have risen as much as $ 75 billion, according to Bloomberg, quoted by the BBC. Bezos’ fortune is estimated by Forbes to be 188.2 billion dollars, the financial website writes in an article from 5 August.
