Mario Salas moves away from the Bengoechea style in Alianza Lima: “The team should have some different things on offense” Peruvian Football

In a short time, Mario Salas will have to form a competitive Lima Alliance, capable of fighting for the League 1 title, especially taking as a parameter what was done by the Uruguayan Pablo Bengoechea.

“I would like to be able to match Pablo Bengoechea in the achievements and results he obtained, especially at the national level”, the former Colo Colo coach told Ovation.

On the other hand, Salas referred to the style that he intends to capture in his Lima Alliance, marking differences with what the blue and white team showed when it was directed by the ‘Professor’.

“The team should have some similarities regarding the defensive organization (of Pablo Bengoechea), but some different things regarding the offensive aspect,” he said.
