Nintendo will release “Mario Golf Super Rush” software for Nintendo Switch on June 25th. The price is 6578 yen including tax for both the DL version and the package version. We started accepting reservations at Nintendo eShop from February 18th.
The latest work in the Mario Golf series, where you can enjoy golf with simple operations, it is equipped with new elements such as a “power gauge” that shows the direction in which the ball bends by tilting and a “scan function” that allows you to check the undulations of the course. In addition to button operation, it also supports “swing operation” where you can play with Joy-Con like a golf club.
“Speed golf”, which is the centerpiece of this work, competes for speed to cup-in. Players start playing golf all at once, dash in the direction in which the ball flew, hit the next shot, and aim for the cup. Dashes and special moves are available, and the outcome depends on anything other than a simple golf skill. The genre of “speed golf” exists even in the actual competition scene, but in “Mario Golf Super Rush” it has been converted as a party game where you can compete with each other.
Also included is an “adventure mode” in which the player-created Mii becomes a beginner golfer and advances the story. In this mode, you can grow your favorite abilities with the accumulated experience points. Raised Mii can be used in battles.
