Mariah Carey performed in 1995 while recording her own album Daydream collaborated on the album Someone’s Ugly Daughter of the rock band Chick. The singer will share the news on Sunday Twitter in an excerpt from her biography.
“Just for fun, but it got me through a bad period,” Carey said of working on the rock album. The singer does not explain why it was a “lesser period”.
According to her management, Carey has all numbers on Someone’s Ugly Daughter written, produced and sang as a backing singer. The singer was also responsible for directing the video for Chicks song Demented.
Carey’s biography The Meaning of Mariah Carey will be released on September 29. In the book, the singer would also reveal that she is at the age of twelve drugged and was abused by her older sister.
