Marcus Thuram is under no pressure to have a world champion sire

french player Marco Thuram he had a father who was a World Cup winner. But the 25-year-old player is not burdened. He was actually proud.

Marcus’ father Lilian is one of the living legends of French football. He was a member of the team when Les Bleus won the 1998 World Cup.

Currently, Marcus is a member of the French team for World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Didier Deschamps, former teammate of Lilian, current coach of Marcus in France.

Marcus was asked by reporters. The Borussia Moenchengladbach player admits he has no problems and is even proud of Lilian.

“It’s okay for me to talk about him. I’m very proud of him,” Marcus Thuram told reporters at Al Sadd Stadium.

Marcus then revealed Lilian’s message in this World Cup. His father did not put any pressure on him.

“I don’t put myself under that kind of pressure. I’m very happy to be here. Maybe when I look back on my career I’ll think about it,” said Marcus.

“He didn’t tell me to score two goals in the (World Cup) semi-final. Instead, he told me to get as much experience as possible here and enjoy the moment,” he added.
