For several days now, a wave of protests has been sweeping through Poland over the controversial ruling of the Constitutional Tribunal on abortion. While most of the protests were peaceful, monuments and churches were sprayed in some places. There were also protests during services. In response to these events, the head of the ruling party, Jarosław Kaczyński, issued a special address. – I am appealing, let us defend our tradition, let us defend the churches. Attacks on places of faith are an unacceptable act of vandalism and a manifestation of nihilism – said the head of Law and Justice recently.
Marcin Najman wanted to “fight” for Jasna Góra. “Warrior”
Lots of people responded to Kaczyński’s appeal. He also reacted to the appeal of the PiS chief Marcin Najman, a former boxer who currently works with the organization FAME MMA. Najman decided to defend Jasna Góra in Częstochowa. He first went there a few days ago, but – to his surprise – there was no one there. – This is one great provocation. People, there’s no one here. Nobody attacks Jasna Góra. What fucking stupid things you are. After all, you only fuel the mood – said the athlete.
Najman’s first visit, however, was not enough. Therefore, he went to Jasna Góra again. On his second attempt, he saw the protesters. – Leftist hordes are coming. They are already visible from the Jasna Góra hill, but we are ready and of course we will not let the Jasna Góra church be devastated. Stay calm, all in position.
Judging by Najman’s Twitter entries, he is “stationed” at Jasna Góra every day. Every day he publishes posts from under the church. – Do you want to protest? Your case. But why do you want to destroy the Temple? Even the commune did not do it in such a blatant way, he wrote on Thursday.
Najman’s posts made him appear on TVP Info. A public station broadcast a program in which it showed Najman from Jasna Góra. The 41-year-old was presented by TVP journalists as a “warrior”.
