The new ordinances of the Ministry of Health are expected for Friday, with the attribution of colors to the various regions. Vaccinations for the over 80s start from Saturday 20 February. Today there was a meeting between the councilor for health Filippo Saltamartini and the representatives of general practitioners, for their “full involvement” in the administration plan for the elderly, so to “serve the populations in a homogeneous way even in the most disadvantaged areas, both on an outpatient basis and at home”. Fifteen vaccination points have been set up, but after protests by part of the population, other alternative locations are also sought, such as in Fermo, where a school gym was considered.
The administration of vaccines to school staff will begin on March 1st.
