Agency Marantika’s talent claimed to be a cause of chaos that occurred between pesinetron Ike Muti with the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. He also apologized to DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
Through a statement uploaded to Story on Instagram, the agency explained that this problem began when they were contacted for a film project. They then asked Ike Muti to audition but did not qualify because it did not fit the required role.
“In a conversation between me and Mbak Ike when preaching this decision, I joked or joked that his choice was not due to the many photos on Ms. Ike’s social media with Mr. President, “he admitted.
In the statement, Marantika also explained the mistake of those who thought that the project belonged to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government because it was set in Jakarta.
“I want to convey the chronology of why this problem could occur which is actually purely my fault, “he wrote.”I was contacted by a group of young creative artists from various professions in the communications world who wanted to make a short film of around 20 minutes. “
He said the short film tells the story of lovers who have problems in romance by taking several places in the Jakarta area.
The agency then said that the community had a number of places in Jakarta as the location for the film.
“I assume that this film was made by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government because it is located in Jakarta,” he said.
For his mistakes, Marantika then expressed an apology to either Ike or the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
“I apologize to Mr Anies Baswedan for the miscommunication between me and Mbak Ike, which made Mbak Ike prejudice that my joke was due to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s policy,“he said.
Marantika said that Ike was not mistaken in uploading the problem to social media because he actually obtained the wrong information from his side.
“Once again I apologize and pray that this short film will be made later and will continue to be carried out so that the artist community can be creative in the midst of this epidemic,” closed Marantika.

DKI Jakarta Provincial Government sent a subpoena to Ike Muti on charges of defamation and spreading false news on Friday (31/7) yesterday, because of the upload of the pesinetron on social media.
In the upload referred to, Ike admitted that he was urged by someone representing the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to delete his photo with Jokowi. The removal request, according to Ike, is for him to be able to work on a webseries project in collaboration with the DKI Provincial Government.
“GOD WAS GOOD at the time of the pandemic I still had a few #webseries offers. But if there was an offer of fortune to me by asking me to delete the photos on social media that were there, Mr. President, how come it felt really unprofessional. Just because the web series project would work the same as clients from the DKI Government,“thus fragments of photos uploaded Ike the day before.
