Map of France Coronavirus: vulnerable departments, France in a state of health emergency, second confinement

Data on the coronavirus situation in France continues to be closely monitored. More and more departments are once again becoming areas of vigilance due to the active circulation of the virus. This Saturday, November 21, 2020, 88.8% of intensive care beds are occupied in France. As of November 21, 2020, 100 departments are in a situation of high vulnerability, the whole of France is in a state of health emergency. The country is in lockdown again until December 1, 2020, at least.

Regarding the development of the situation Saturday 21 November, there is 17,881 new confirmed cases : 15,989 cases confirmed by positive RT-PCR and 24h et 1,892 cases confirmed by antigenic test. There is therefore in total at least 2.127.051 people affected by Coronavirus since the start of the epidemic in France. There is, this November 21, 2020, 14,254 new people hospitalized these last 7 days in France, including 2,168 new patients who were admitted in intensive care. 276 people are deceased in France since the last assessment is 48.518 total deaths of which 33,231 (+276) in the hospital and 15,287 in nursing homes.

At November 17, 2020, the incidence rate, i.e. the number of patients having a test Positive RT-PCR per 100,000 inhabitants per week was still declining and amounted to 196. The R, representing the average number of people infected by every person with COVID-19, it is also declining 0.65 November 14. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds in France is 88.8% as of November 20, 2020. 14,8 % of tests carried out in France are positive on November 21, 2020.

  • Hauts de France: 108,7 %

  • Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: 141 %

But also :

  • Meeting: 28.8%
  • Guadeloupe : 40,7 %
  • Martinique : 61,5 %
  • Mayotte: 83.3%

The entire France is reconfigured for a period of at least 4 weeks since Friday, October 30, 2020.
