The Manchester United hero (36) believes that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær is not the biggest problem at the club right now.
After the 0-5 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford, criticism has hailed against Manchester United and there has been a lot of talk about manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s job security.
Most indications are that the Norwegian will get the chance to correct the impression and reports will have it that the 48-year-old still has support among the club’s top leaders.
With only three victories in the last nine matches, there is still little doubt that the big club must perform far better in upcoming matches for the pressure to ease.
Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has received recent criticism of Solskjær, but is unsure whether the Norwegian is the biggest problem.
Rooney: – It’s getting too easy
Rooney believes the players have failed, something he says was especially visible against Liverpool. He believes the club management will make the right choices when the time is right.
– There are smart people who sit in Mancehster United’s club management. I am sure that they turn every stone to find the way forward, regardless of whether it is with Ole Gunnar Solskjær as manager or not, says the Derby manager according to the Daily Mail.
