Ole Gunnar Solskjær does not rule out that Manchester United can sign reinforcements in this summer’s transfer window, but does not know if or when it will happen.
Solskjær was disappointed after United’s semi-final loss in the Europa League against Sevilla and confirmed at the press conference after the match that the club is looking for new players.
– We will demand more from the players we have, but we are still looking for opportunities to improve. The league starts very quickly, but the transfer market is open for a long time, Solskjær said.

Although the long corona-exposed season only ended with the loss against Sevilla on Sunday, it is not long before the Premier League starts again. The league starts up again on 12 September, but the transfer window lasts until 5 October.
Solskjær is not sure if there will be reinforcements before the season begins.
– I can not say when or if transitions will be made, but we are looking at it. We must be 100 percent sure when we make transition agreements.
Jadon Sancho has long been the rumor of Manchester United, but the lightning wing seems to remain in Borussia Dortmund next season as well.
The transfer window closes on October 5 and the local newspaper Manchester Evening News claims that United are trying to force a breakthrough in the negotiations with Dortmund.
– It’s going to be a weird summer. We only have a couple of weeks apart before we start up again. It’s going to be a mental challenge. Of course we want to push to demand more from the players we have, but we are looking to strengthen, says Solskjær.
– It is not about a popular character, but about quality. It has to be the right player, the right personality and someone who fits into the group and makes us better. Maybe we will look at it today and see where we can improve it, the Norwegian concludes.
