Due to a life-threatening knife attack in Hamburg’s Karoviertel, a woman has been accountable to the district court from Tuesday (13:00). The prosecution accuses the 32-year-old of dangerous personal injury in two cases and of attempted manslaughter. The defendant is said to have visited her former partner with an acquaintance on the evening of 12 May. She got angry and hit her in the face. The defendant then used pepper spray. When the man walked away due to the irritation in his eyes, he sprayed the device again and stabbed her with a knife during a fight. The 32-year-old suffered a life-threatening liver injury and lost a lot of blood.

It is said that the reason for the crime was that the man had cut off contact with her, which the defendant could not overcome. The woman was arrested two days after the crime by target investigators in an apartment in the Billstedt district.
