A 59-year-old from Aschaffenburg was on Thursday (18th) around 7.45 p.m. on the way through the Eschenheim facility in the north end of Frankfurt. A stranger stuck a knife in his back near Petersstrasse and demanded that his wallet be returned.

The perpetrator fled with his prey in the direction of Alte Gasse and then to the right into Bleichstrasse. The injured party and a witness followed the stranger, but lost sight of him after he ran into a backyard on Bleichstrasse. The 59-year-old was able to find his empty wallet in the backyard. The 300 euro cash was missing.

The perpetrator is described as about 180 centimeters tall with short, dark hair. Speaks broken German and is of southern European appearance. Wore a yellow jacket, black jeans and black shoes with a white sole.
