Man drives van into pedestrian Hippolytushoef, one injured | Inland

The emergency services were warned on Saturday a little before 3 p.m. about a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk on Zonnebloemstraat. According to the police, an investigation has shown that the van was probably deliberately run into several people. The driver then drove off.

The old man who was hit was able to return home after treatment in a hospital. The driver of the van has been arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter. His car has been impounded. The pedestrians have reported.
