Man Attempts Armed Robbery with Nintendo Gun in South Carolina Convenience Store

David Joseph Dalesandro robbed the grocery store in Sharon, a small town in northwestern South Carolina, using a gun used for the game Duck Hunt, released in 1985 in the United States, reports the media American CNN.

According to witnesses cited by a press release from the sheriff’s office, David Joseph Dalesandro entered the establishment wearing a wig, hoodie and mask. He then allegedly asked for around $300 at the checkout pointing to the dummy gun he was carrying on his belt.

Sheriff’s deputies found the young man in the parking lot of a store not far from the scene of the robbery. Still equipped with his pistol, he was arrested and placed behind bars. He is charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and larceny.
