At around 3 a.m. on Sunday, three strangers attacked and injured a man on the Dreirosen Bridge in Basel-Stadt.

According to the previous investigations by the criminal police of the Basel-Stadt public prosecutor’s office, the 37-year-old man climbed the stairs from the Dreirosenanlage to the Dreirosenbrücke and then headed towards Klybeckstrasse. He was followed by three male youths who had previously been sitting on the staircase with a female youth.
They attacked the man and physically injured him. They then fled in an unknown direction.
