A 49-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after an alleged assault outside a hotel in SydneyS south last night.
Police were called to Forest Road, Hurstville, shortly before 10pm following reports of an attack. Upon arrival, officers found a man with serious injuries. paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to st George Hospital, where he was placed into an induced coma.He remains in a critical condition.
Investigators have been told the man, a hotel patron, went outside to address the rider of a motorcycle due to the vehicle’s noise. After the motorcycle was moved, the rider allegedly assaulted the man before fleeing the scene.
Police say the two men are believed to be unknown to each other.
