Bridal shop owner Mary was at ‘Jinek’ a guest to talk about her new TV show ‘Borsato’s Budget Wedding’. Reason for presenter Eva Jinek to ask about her famous son Marco. However, ‘the mother of’ made it clear quite quickly that she would not reveal anything about it.

When asked how Marco is doing now, Mary replied that she is ‘a lobster’, referring to her zodiac sign. “But I have turned into a lion. I fight for my boy and I have three. I also have seven little cubs. I’ve turned my strength and fighting spirit to silence. Silence is golden and that is very normal for me, for now. This is the answer to your question. ” Eva, herself a mother of a son, fully understood Mary’s explanation: “You are a mother and you take care of your child.”

Mary and Marco are known to have a very good relationship. After Marco decided to take a rest at the beginning of this year due to a burnout, the news followed a month later that he and Leontine are in divorce after a 23-year marriage. Marco then moved in with his mother in Stompetoren. Last summer he bought a penthouse in Alkmaar, his hometown. Last month, Marco announced that ‘a lot has happened’. “I have moved and I am still recovering from my burnout. The recovery goes with ups and downs, which is common for a burnout. This means that as an artist I will not return for the time being and will not be active on social media yet. ”
