At the hospital, the 32-year-old Malmö FF captain had a pacemaker implanted.

The club announces that, under the circumstances, he is doing well and is at home with his family.
– The most important thing for all of Malmö FF is now to give him all the support we can and that he gets time to gather and recover in peace, says Daniel Andersson.
Was examined in hospital
After the health problems in training, the Danish midfield star was taken to hospital for further checks.
It resulted in him having an ICD, a type of pacemaker, implanted.
Further investigations are now awaited to ensure health in the short and long term.

“Malmö FF now prioritizes supporting Anders Christiansen in his continued well-being. We ask for respect and understanding that neither he nor Malmö FF will currently give further comments on the matter,” writes the club.
It was after the warm-up that the team captain was lying on the grass for 20 minutes with his legs elevated.
He then stepped off the field together with the team’s physiotherapist Jesper Robertsson.
