AFF Cup 2020 have played in Group B. Malaysia and Vietnam able to win. These two countries will be Indonesia’s main rivals in the group phase.
The opening match of Group B of the 2020 AFF Cup presents the Malaysia vs Cambodia duel at Bishan Stadium, Singapore, Monday (6/12/2021) afternoon WIB. Cambodia appeared surprising by daring to play short passes.

In the next match at the same place, Vietnam managed to beat Laos 2-0. Golden Stars opened the scoring from Nguyen Chong Puong’s flick utilizing Nguyen Phong Hong Duy’s pass. Vietnam then fulfilled the victory of Pan Van Duc in the 55th minute.
Malaysia and Vietnam are ranked first and second in Group B with three points respectively. Indonesia who are members of this new group will play their first match against Cambodia on Thursday (9/11).
