Malayalee Nurse Wins Rs. 45 Crore Prize in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket Draw

Abu Dhabi: In the Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw, a Malayalee nurse received a prize of Rs 45 crore (about Dhs 20 lakh). The draw was held on Saturday. Lovely Mol Achamma, who has been working in Abu Dhabi for many years, received the prize.

Lovely’s husband, who has been living with his family in Abu Dhabi for the past 21 years, buys the big ticket every month. Most of the tickets are purchased during the journey from the in-store counter at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Lovely said she will share the prize money with her brother-in-law.

Lovely said a portion of the prize money will be given to charity and will be spent on her children’s education. Four more Indians have received prizes in the draw held in connection with this. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey and Nepal also received prizes.
