WWhen gunshots were allegedly shot in an apartment in the Bessungen district of Darmstadt, a large-scale police operation took place on Saturday morning. Less than an hour and a half later, the situation turned out to be a false alarm.

According to the officials, they were alerted at around 10:30 a.m. because gunshots were fired in an apartment on Bessunger Strasse. The police then moved out with a large contingent, the area around Donnersbergring, Moltkestrasse and Bessunger Strasse was largely sealed off. Shortly afterwards, the apartment, in which shots were said to have been shot, was said.

Neither injured nor shooters

After the officials gained access, however, there was no evidence of an injured person or a possible perpetrator. Only the 39-year-old resident who triggered the alarm was found.

Finally it turned out that she invented the act. The police finally said that because of the state of health of the woman, the admission to a psychiatric clinic was being examined.
