The Franco-German aircraft manufacturer Airbus has received a major order from Australia. According to its own statements, the airline Qantas is buying twelve long-haul A350 aircraft. Qantas wants to offer direct flights from Sydney to London or New York in the future. At around 20 hours, that would be the longest direct commercial flight in the world.
