Dresden – The flames and thick plumes of smoke can be seen for miles in and around Dresden. Late on Friday evening, a fire broke out in an old factory building at An der Eisenbahn 2 in the industrial area for reasons that are still unclear.
The fire brigade is on site with a large contingent and is currently trying, among other things, to save the well-known techno club “Sector Evolution”.
This is housed in the burning building, but according to BILD information it is not yet affected by the fire. The disposal company “Nestler” is also housed in the factory hall.
The police cordoned off the area extensively. It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured in the blaze.
