Magdy Abdel-Ghani, a former member of the Football Association, confirmed that Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, did not benefit from Al-Ahly Club.
The recent period has witnessed the return of good relations between Al-Ahly President Mahmoud Al-Khatib and the Sheikh family after a major crisis.
Abdul-Ghani said in statements to the “Match” program, “Peace is definitely good, but it is difficult to judge matters as long as I was not present in the crisis.”
“Of course what happened was a surprise to me, the dispute was great,” he added.
“Certainly, each side made concessions to make this reconciliation. The crisis was difficult, but it ended,” he said.
He concluded, “From my point of view, Al-Ahly was the one who conceded the most because there were some accusations that were not answered, Turki Al-Sheikh did not benefit from Al-Ahly, despite all that he presented.”
