Maja Ostaszewska is involved in various social campaigns. Participated, inter alia, in pro-abortion Black Marches, and in the campaign against the sale of live carp. She also defended the “free media” and demanded the admission to Poland of immigrants staying on the Polish-Belarusian border.

Ostaszewska on the “black list”?
Magdalena Mołek asked Ostaszewska about the impact of activist activity on acting in one of the episodes of her program.
– I don’t feel it in my professional work. Of course, at one point I myself refused, a few years ago, to work with public television. I even took part in such an action “I don’t watch and I don’t work on TVP”. There is such a black list and of course I’m on that list, so I don’t work there, but I don’t want to work there either. In general, however, I have a lot of interesting work – she said.
The star confessed that the stairs begin with more commercial contracts. Many of them had already been lost during the talks: – I was expected not to comment. For me, it’s more important to just be true to myself. I would feel terribly bad if I agreed. Therefore, I believe that the money was not worth it.
