Here are the main points of the statement made on Friday by the coordinator of the National Center for Public Health Emergency Operations at the Ministry of Health, Mouad Mrabet, on the epidemiological situation of the coronavirus in Morocco in 24 hours:
– 1,306 new cases;
– 957 healings;
– 39,241 total number of contaminations;
– 27,644 total number of people fully recovered;
– 70.4% cure rate;
– 27 new deaths;
– 10,986 active cases;
– 163 cases admitted to resuscitation and intensive care units, including 72 intubated.
– Of the 1,306 new confirmed cases, 397 cases were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 312 in Marrakech-Safi, 198 in the region of Fès-Meknes, 129 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 109 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 60 in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, 53 in Draâ-Tafilalet, 27 in the Oriental, 10 in Souss-Massa, 5 in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, 4 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 2 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
