Roger E. Mosley began his acting career in the early 1970s with guest roles on various television series. But it was only as Theodore “TC” Calvin that he became world famous. From the first to the last season, between 1980 and 1988, he played the helicopter pilot who runs the charter company “Island Hoppers” in Hawaii and often flies his buddy “Magnum” to missions in 161 episodes between 1980 and 1988.

After the end of the series, Mosley continued to appear in TV productions such as “Love Boat”, “Walker, Texas Ranger” or “The District – Einsatz in Washington”. In 2018, he starred in “Magnum PI,” a reboot of the original, but slipped into a different role. In 2021 he was seen again in the series, it should be his last appearance in front of the camera.

The actor is survived by his wife Toni Laudermick, with whom he has been together for more than 60 years and married since 1976, and three children.
