The Swiss Seismological Service at ETH Zurich recorded an earthquake at 9.44 p.m. on Saturday about 9 km southwest of Imst, in Austrian Tyrol. The tremor had a magnitude of about 4.0 on the Richter scale.
This earthquake could be felt over a large area, including in Switzerland, said the Swiss Seismological Service. As a general rule, damage is not expected for an earthquake of this magnitude.
