The journalist of the Bogotá newspaper El Tiempo, Martha Soto, during the Aló Buenas Noches program hosted by Carla Angola, points out that Saab’s relatives have sent a Letter to the President of Cape Verde so that he releases the citizen because, according to them, Saab is sick and thinner and they fear he may become even more ill while in prison.
It highlights that the citizen has been transferred to another penitentiary compound in Cape Verde. The detainee was the one who requested that some tests be carried out, because he wants to make clear his good physical and mental health despite the fact that his relatives say otherwise.
