Actor Mads Mikkelsen replaces Johnny Depp in the movie Fantastic Beasts 3. Depp, who played the role of Grindelwald, was asked to relinquish the role in early November. That reports Entertainment Weekly.

Since Depp stepped down, rumors have been circulating that Mikkelsen would take over the role.

Depp was released in early November Warner Bros. asked to resign when he filed his libel case against tabloid The Sun had lost.
