True to the motto “A queen is never late”, pop icon Madonna (61) made her fans wait three and a half hours in Paris. The 2800 spectators had to bring a lot of patience to the US singer’s concert on Saturday evening.

Only shortly after midnight did the US singer appear for the first of her twelve concerts in the French capital. Management cited “unforeseen technical problems” with the venue as the cause.

Fan is still satisfied
The extravagant singer had chosen the famous, time-honored Parisian cinema and event house Grand Rex as a concert venue to perform one of her breathtaking shows with costumes designed by designer Jean-Paul Gaultier (67) and many dancers.

After about two hours on stage, Madonna said goodbye without an excuse. Fans like 28-year-old Jonathan were still enthusiastic: “I don’t know how to get home, but it was still worth the wait,” said the young man. (SDA / klm)
