Madina Baye (Kaolack), July 8 (APS) – The President of the Republic, Macky Sall, pledged on Saturday to accompany the new Caliph of Madina Baye, Cheikh Mahi Niass, in his mission.
We are committed to supporting you in your mission while wishing you great success. We have a lot of hope in this success because you are an educator and a builder of conscience, by the grace of God, ” said Macky Sall, addressing the new Caliph.
The Head of State was in Madina Baye to offer his condolences following the call to God of Caliph Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Niass.
For the President of the Republic, the death of Caliph Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Niass is “a great loss” for Senegal and for the Islamic Ummah.
“On behalf of the Senegalese people”, Macky Sall offered his “sincere condolences” to the new Caliph as well as to the whole family of Mawlana Cheikh Al Islam.
