The daily bulletin of IASAÚDE reveals that, in the last 24 hours, no new case of covid-19 infection has been reported again, with a total of 90 positive cases, 59 of which are reported as recovered and 31 remain assets.
In total, 1540 suspected cases have been reported to date, of which, 1450 have not been confirmed, 422 people are being monitored by the health authorities of the various counties in the Region, 331 people are under active surveillance and 91 are in self-surveillance.
During the 17th of May, 60 tests were carried out at Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, on patients admitted or subjected to diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, 55 with negative results and 5 awaiting results.
A further 271 samples were taken from homes and home helpers, all with negative results.
Regarding the total of tests, 7816 samples have been processed in the SESARAM Laboratory to date. The number of test target users is 6986.
