The three dams on Sudan’s 100-pound banknote, the Merowe Dam, the Upper Atbara Water Control Project, and the rising Roceres Dam, were all built by China.
In Central Asia there is the National Library of Tajikistan with the Tajik 200 somoni banknote.

Since 2013, China has launched the “Belt and Road” initiative, hoping to build a modern version of the Silk Road that connects Europe and Asia. Countries of Asia, North Asia, Western Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean, South America and the Atlantic. The countries mentioned above are all participating in the Chinese “Belt and Road” construction.
